After a decade-long absence, Zellers is set to return to Abbotsford, British Columbia. The much-anticipated revival of the brand will take place at the Sevenoaks Shopping Centre, marking the first time Zellers will be present at this location.
The original Zellers in Abbotsford, which opened in the late-'90s, was situated on Sumas Way. Since then, the space has been occupied by Lowe's. However, come September 15, 2025, Zellers will once again grace the city of Abbotsford.
The return of Zellers to Abbotsford is part of a larger plan to introduce 25 "shop experiences" across various locations in British Columbia, including Kamloops, Surrey, Vancouver, and Abbotsford. The new Zellers at Sevenoaks Mall will offer a variety of products, including home design, toys, children's items, clothing, and pet items.
The specific details about the size, layout, or opening date of the new Zellers at Sevenoaks Mall have yet to be announced. What we do know is that the new Zellers will be located inside Hudson's Bay at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre.
Interestingly, Sevenoaks Mall has never had a Zellers before. Previously, Kmart occupied a space at the mall, but Zellers was never a part of the mall's lineup.
