Weststadt's 26th Drachenfest: Fun, Crafts & Exploration This Saturday
The Weststadtplenum, a collaborative effort of institutions caring for children and young people in the district, is hosting the 26th Drachenfest this Saturday. The event, which runs from 2 to 5 PM, promises fun activities for kids and young adults at the Westpark on Heinz-Friedrich-Weg.
The Drachenfest offers a variety of attractions. Children can build and paint their own dragons, and there will be a bouncy castle for endless fun. Refreshments include children's drinks and grilled sausage, as well as coffee and cake for adults. This year, the event introduces a new feature: associations of the Braunschweig Youth Ring will showcase their offerings, providing an opportunity for young attendees to explore different activities and interests.
The event takes place at the Westpark, situated between the Kleingartenvereine Holzenkamp and Am Ganderhals. The Weststadtplenum, which organizes the event, is a collaboration of institutions dedicated to supporting children and young people in the Weststadt district.
The 26th Drachenfest promises a day of creativity, fun, and exploration for children and young adults. With dragon crafting, a bouncy castle, food, and the chance to discover new interests through the Braunschweig Youth Ring, the event is not to be missed. It takes place this Saturday, October 11, from 2 to 5 PM at the Westpark on Heinz-Friedrich-Weg.
