Unleash Your Creativity at Kreativ-Stadt in Mönchengladbach!

Are you ready to tap into your imagination and maybe discover hidden talents? Geared towards kids aged 6 to 12, the Kreativ-Stadt summer event, hosted by AWO (Arbeiterwohlfahrt), invites you to join a two-week extravaganza. From August 4th to 15th, take a trip to the Grenzlandstadion's meadow, accessible via Gartenstraße, transforming into a jamboree of fun, frolic, and creative escapades.

Spend each day immersed in a diverse program, with roughly 400 children participating in total across the fortnight. Imagine your little geniuses designing their own small metropolis, with everything from an art studio to a discovery lab and beyond. A town hall and media center are also on the agenda, encouraging democratic education, learning new skills, and experimenting with their environment.

The fun doesn't stop there. Whether your child is into spray painting graffiti, building, climbing, dancing, playing football, drumming, or simply jumping on a bouncy castle, there's something for everyone. Whet their appetite with water games, cool off with some ice cream, and make new friendships along the way.

Wrapping up each week, the kids have an opportunity to showcase their creations at the "Market of Possibilities" festival. This event is not only a chance for parents to celebrate their little ones' accomplishments but also for local partners in children and youth welfare to connect and network for sustainable participation and extracurricular learning. By establishing relationships with local clubs, initiatives, and engaged individuals, this program aims to extend beyond the summer, fostering lasting connections.

Don't miss out on the fun! You can secure your spot by registering through the City of Mönchengladbach's youth department's software before June 4th. So, take the leap, let's bring our city to life together! Happy summer, Mönchengladbach!

Experiment with creating a unique home-and-garden district within the metropolis designed by the kids, enhancing their lifestyle and imagination. Beyond artistic pursuits, children can engage in home-and-garden activities, such as designing garden layouts and developing sustainable living ideas.
