Wagyu burgers to headline festive market in Rees, 2025
Commencing June 5th, the lively after-work market season returns to Rees, Germany. From 4 pm to 10 pm, the market square will be transformed into a vibrant hub for food, drinks, live music, and camaraderie.
Sponsored by the city and various local and regional partners, visitors can expect an enjoyable evening filled with an array of culinary delights. Local gastronomes such as Ristorante Da Vinci, Rheincafé Rösen, and Niederrhein Wagyu will offer an extensive menu, catering to diverse tastes, including options for vegetarians and vegans.
For those seeking refreshments, the Millinger Braumanufaktur, Walter Bräu, and the Braumanufaktur from Hamminkeln will provide an assortment of draft beer. Cocktail aficionados can indulge in intricate creations by Tim Möllmann from Rolling Cocktails, while Weingut Markus Burg offers an array of fine Mosel wines. Die Beckerei - Kaffeerösterei, by Sebastian Becker, will also make their debut at the market.
Live music entertainment will be provided by Traces, featuring a varied program. For families, a bouncy castle and play equipment will ensure fun for children.
Additionally, decorations from the LHUN-Lädchen of the Lebenshilfe Unterer Niederrhein and an info stand from the Reeser Geschichtsverein Ressa will contribute to the event's ambiance.
The city will implement traffic adjustments, with the market street closed for security reasons from 11 am at the intersection of Rheinstraße, Dellstraße, and Rǘnkelstraße to the Krantor.
