Visitors Basking in Harburg City Park During Winter Season
On Saturday, January 27, the South Group of NABU Hamburg is organising a birdwatching walk around the outdoor mill pond in Harburg's city park. This event is open to the public and is a great opportunity to observe the birds that use the outdoor mill as a shelter during the winter.
The meeting point for the walk is at 10 a.m. at the bus stop "Freizeitbad Midsommerland" (Bus 146). Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear as the event may be muddy. Binoculars are also recommended, should you have them.
During the walk, you may be lucky enough to spot dabchicks and goosanders, among other winter guests that have arrived this year. The outdoor mill in Harburg's city park serves as a shelter for various winter birds during the cold months.
The birdwatching walk is free, but donations are welcome. Registrations for the event can be made online. The leader or organizer of the walk is not specified in the available information.
So, if you're a bird enthusiast or simply interested in discovering the wonders of nature, join the South Group of NABU Hamburg for this exciting birdwatching walk on January 27. It promises to be an enlightening experience, providing a unique insight into the lives of our feathered friends during the winter months.
