Christian Grundmann, the collection's guardian, shared, "We spared this beauty from being scrapped. It was the last prototype made, the number 12. Uniquely, it was the only blue one. Plus, it was a family car for the Karmann family, which makes it even more special."
However, despite its undeniable elegance and sophistication, the Type 3 Karmann Ghia Cabriolet never made it to full production.
