Two new female kangaroos have joined the residents at Zoo Fauna.
In a shocking turn of events, two kangaroos at the Solingen Animal Park met their untimely end in April, with the exact cause of their deaths yet to be publicly disclosed. The first kangaroo was found with its head severed from its body, and two days later, a second female kangaroo was discovered with her head completely missing.

In a more positive development, the animal park has welcomed two new female kangaroos from Zoological Garden Neunkirchen and Tierpark Hamm. The club chairman expressed her pleasure at receiving a white female from Neunkirchen.
To enhance security, the board of the Fauna has taken additional measures on the enclosure and had some employees and board members stay in the park during the nights. A friendly hunter also monitored the outdoor area at night during the investigation period.
