Transforming declining fortunes to prosperity: the facelift plan for Fachcherbräu's Brauhaus 2.0

Fächerbraü's Brewery Shift: From the Brew House to the Bio-Brewery

Get ready for some exciting brews in Knielingen, fam! Fächerbraü's revamping the old Brew House 2.0 location into a cutting-edge Bio-Brewery, Fächerbräu, and Business Manager Christopher Wertz has the deets online. Details are still being ironed out, but the three-cheers can kick off at two upcoming events: the Brewery Festival at Pentecost and the Long Night of Breweries.

To spread the joy, Wertz has been talking to the local citizens' association, who've recommended two local musicians for the events' lineup.

Putting Down Roots: The Dream of a Permanent Home

Expect some changes if Fächerbraü's Knielingen plans come to fruition. The company's already brewed beer in Bruchsal, Alsace, and the Black Forest, but now it's time to put down roots. "We wanna settle down," says Wertz, who's inspecting breweries all over Baden for the perfect spot.

Fingers crossed for Knielingen; it's a winner for Wertz so far: "The facilities are perfect," he says, with a beer garden planned for the start and the production eventually moving into the building on Egon-Eiermann-Allee. Here's to a future bottling plant, too!

Draught Beer on Tap, Now and for the Gastronomy

When the Bio-Brewery opens up, get ready to quench your thirst straight from the tap. After that, Fächerbraü plans to supply its own gastronomy with brews from the fresh production site.

Staffing the Beer Garden: Mini-Jobbers and Self-Service

A new beer garden sounds great but doesn't come without hard work, folks. Wertz and the Fächerbraü team are aware of this. With 40 mini-jobbers covering their events, they've got a team in place to handle the beer garden.

To make things easier, they're rolling out a self-service system—customers pick up their drinks at the counter, and buzzers keep track of food orders. More productivity, less labor, sorted!

Combining Tradition with Modern Amenities

Fächerbraü's new brewery will blend modern beer garden vibes with age-old charm. The food's gonna be traditional, and the design and technology are gonna be sleek.

Kids will be in on the action as well. The outdated playground will get a makeover: a swing's already on the way; just have to say sayonara to the sandbox for hygiene reasons, and cool misting systems will beat the summer heat!
