For the April 2025 issue of the "Test" magazine, the consumer organization Stiftung Warentest put 16 new dishwashers under the spotlight. Among them, both semi-integrated and fully integrated built-in appliances, along with freestanding dishwashers with a width of 60 centimeters, were included in the test.

What Did Stiftung Warentest Test This Time?
The test included a total of 16 different dishwashers. The organization considered various factors while comparing the dishwashers, such as the eco program, automatic program, quick program, handling, safety and processing, and noise.
No Bargains Among the Good Dishwashers
Surprisingly, none of the good dishwashers were budget-friendly; all of them cost more than 800 euros. The most affordable option among the test winners is the Siemens iQ700 SN57TS00CE.
Top-Performing Dishwashers – Stiftung Warentest 2025
The Siemens iQ700 SN87TX00CE and the Siemens iQ700 SN57TS00CE dishwashers stood out as joint test winners, receiving an overall score of 2.1. In the freestanding dishwasher category, the Bosch Serie 6 SMS6ZCI16E took the trophy with an overall score of 2.2.
The Siemens appliances excelled in all test areas, with "good" partial grades across the board. The Bosch dishwasher shone bright with "very good" grades in safety and processing (1.3) and noise (1.4). While it received "good" partial grades for the eco program and handling, it got deductions for the automatic and quick programs.
