Supermarket Chain Price Rite to Launch New Store in Previously Held Ollie's Site
In an exciting development for the Waterbury community, Price Rite Marketplace has announced plans to open a new store in Fall 2025. The store will be situated at 881 Wolcott Street within the Waterbury Shopping Center, taking over a 34,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.
The new Price Rite Marketplace will focus on providing everyday low prices and a shopper-friendly format, offering a wide range of products including fresh produce, high-quality meats, dairy products, baked goods, frozen foods, and a variety of national and private label groceries. The company aims to deliver great value and friendly service to the Waterbury community.

Wakefern Food Corp., based in Keasbey, New Jersey, is the largest supermarket cooperative in the United States, comprising nearly 50 members that independently own and operate 365-plus supermarkets.
