Street Art Gathering on Scharbeutzer
The Scharbeutz Street Art Festival 2025 took place from July 31 to August 3, 2025, transforming the town's Kurpark, promenade, and beach near the new sea bridge into a vibrant stage for international street art.
This year's festival featured high-caliber artists from Chile, South Africa, Finland, Argentina, Italy, Israel, and Germany, who showcased their impressive skills, cheeky humor, and entertaining interactions with the audience.
Children aged five and above were invited to participate in free circus arts workshops at the festival. These workshops, led by instructors at the festival's artistry school, took place daily at the festival location in a tent. Registration for the workshops could be done at the artistry school tent on the respective event day. No monetary payment was required for children to attend these workshops.
Visitors who participated in the voting for the Golden Hat Award had the chance to win attractive prizes. The Golden Hat Award is an honour bestowed upon the three artists with the most votes in a public voting process. The exact voting system and details about the Golden Hat Award can be found on the official festival website or through direct festival communications.
After their performances, the artists received donations in their hats as a form of payment. Winning the Golden Hat grants the artists an automatic invitation to participate in the street art festival the following year.
For more precise details about the artists participating in the festival, the voting system, and the Golden Hat Award, we recommend visiting the official festival website or contacting the festival directly.
