Salt Museum Hosts "Reach Tomorrow" Event on Bunter Action Day
Title: Get Ready for a Futuristic Extravaganza: Halle's Action Day "Touch the Future: Saline" on June 14, 2025!
Mark your calendars, folks, because Halle is hosting an action-packed day filled with futuristic wonders! On Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 am to 5 pm, come join us at the Saline for "Touch the Future: Saline"!
The event will be held alongside the opening of the exhibition "Competition Entries for the Future Center German Unity and European Transformation" at the Halle Salt Museum. Admission is absolutely free!
This exhibition, presented by the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR), showcases 24 designs for the Future Center, including the winning entry by Richter Musikowski Architects and ST Raum a. Landscape Architecture, plus 102 other architectural submissions. Additionally, you can check out the transformation of the Salt Museum in a separate exhibition in the Großsiedehalle Nord. Guided tours at 12, 2, and 4 pm will help you get a closer look!
The competition entries for the Future Center will be on display from Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm, in the Großsiedehalle Süd of the Salt Museum, until Sunday, July 13, 2025, also free of charge.

Our day starts with Halle's Mayor, Dr. Alexander Vogt, officialy opening the action day at 11 am. At 1 and 3 pm, you'll have the chance to ask questions to the experts about the Future Center and the renovation of the Riebeckplatz.
Halle's bustling city with the Society for Science Communication, science2public, offers two guided tours over the new Elisabeth Bridge (11:30 am and 3:30 pm), two AI workshops on construction sites of the future (1 and 3 pm), various interactive offers such as a debate box or the Rivercheck: How clean is the Saale. In the Smart City Mobile, all your queries about smartphones and app usage will be answered at our digital café.
Build your very own Leonardo Bridge and get a sneak peek into the plans for the future RAW area, a lighthouse project of structural change by 2038, with a 3-D model and a short film by the Development and Administration Company Halle-Saalkreis GmbH (EVG).
Marvel at the past of the Riebeckplatz in Halle's City Archive under the motto "The Place with the Five Names".
