Monitor Audio Unveils Limited Edition Silver Series 7G Speakers
Monitor Audio, a renowned name in the world of high-fidelity audio, has announced the release of two limited edition models from its Silver Series 7G range. The new additions, the Silver 300 7G floorstander and the Silver 100 7G standmounter, are set to hit the market from August 2025.
These limited edition speakers boast a striking Carbon Black Metallic finish and are individually numbered to emphasize their rarity. Both models share Monitor Audio's own C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) drivers and RST II (Rigid Surface Technology II) bass and mid drivers, ensuring exceptional clarity and precision.
The Silver 300 7G, designed for larger rooms, is priced at approximately £2000 / $2750 / €2500 per pair, making it a premium choice for audiophiles seeking a full-range sound experience. The Silver 100 7G, on the other hand, is designed for smaller spaces and is priced around £925 / $1350 / €1300 per pair.
The new models also feature a C-CAM dark grey anodised domed tweeter for greater detail and smoother high-frequency performance. This tweeter, combined with a meticulously engineered crossover and cabinet design, aims for an impeccable balance of dynamics, accuracy, and musicality.
A separate ST2 Stand is available for the stand-mount Silver 100 7G Limited Edition speakers at £550 / $750 / €675 (about AU$1,145) per pair. This stand, like the speakers themselves, sports the Carbon Black Metallic finish.
Each pair of the limited edition Silver 300 7G and Silver 100 7G speakers is individually numbered, adding to their exclusivity. It's important to note that the Limited Edition finish and numbering are exclusive to these two models and do not apply to other Silver 7G products like the Silver 500 and 200 floorstanders, and the Silver 50 bookshelf speakers.
These limited edition speakers are marketed as marking a new pinnacle of craftsmanship and performance in the audio industry. With their unique finish, individual numbering, and premium pricing, they are sure to be a coveted addition to any audiophile's collection.
