Heads Up, Motorists! Traffic Restrictions Ahead in Almaty's Districts
It's time to navigate those roads a bit differently, folks, as traffic is about to get a tad tricky in Almaty's districts due to heat network reconstruction. Starting from May 31, you can expect some bumps on the road (not the good kind).
Going временно Sideways in Almalinsky District
From May 31 to July 20, buckle up and brace yourself for a detour on Bogenbai Batyr Street. The stretch between Bruno and Anosov will be off-limits in both directions. So, if you're headed there, consider an alternate route.
Halt on the One-Way in Turkestan District
Prepare for a temporary standstill on Kotelnikov Street, as it's closing shop between Seifullin and Akan Serik for a whole month, from May 31 to June 30, in both directions.
And More to Come...
Reminder: Change is upon us in Bostandyk district since late May. The northern side of Bukhar Zhyrau Boulevard, stretching between Baaturly and Markov streets, will be off-limits until August 15. Luckily, the southern side (previously affected) is set to reopen on May 29.
Prepare for more roadblocks starting June 1, as Satpayev Street will be closed from Masanchi to Baaturly, afflicting both lanes until August 20.
From June 2 to August 20, Gabdullina Street will also be out of action, with closure between Rimsky-Korsakov and Nakhimov in both directions.
