Slashing Dirt and Boosting Greenery in Karaganda

It's been a year since the "Clean Kazakhstan" crusade kicked off nationwide. Residents from the heart of Karaganda have taken the green call to heart, contributing to the snug charm of towns and villages in the region. Now, a mass tree-planting movement grabs its spade and gets to work in the realm.

A Hundred Trees Take Root in Alash Square

Today saw more than a hundred trees finding new homes in Alash Square, Karaganda. The community event united denizens of various walks of life — dedicated volunteers, youth activists, city council representatives, business tycoons, public figures, and local workers.

City council rep, Nurlan Aubakirov, noted the importance of the pretty space for Alash Square and its improved appeal with initiatives like this. For Serik Sanaubayev, head of the Karaganda Business Fraternity, this spirit strengthens eco-conscious attitudes, particularly in our young ones, future custodians of nature's treasures.

Nurturing the Education Alley in Saran

Over three thousand schoolkiddos from Saran breathed life into the Education Alley and its school grounds. First, the little green warriors scoured the grounds for trash and debris; then, planting flowerbeds and near 600 birch saplings adorned the landscape.

An interesting twist — the youngsters grew the flower seedlings themselves in school greenhouses. Students from School-Gymnasium No.17 shared their homegrown plants, while those from Abai School, with their Winter Garden club and innovative hydroponics system, brought more wisdom to the table.

"We wholeheartedly support "Clean Kazakhstan" because responsibility and cleanliness are ours to uphold. Today's event showcases the importance of unity for shared goals. These events breed a mindset of environmental awareness and civic duties in our youngsters," said Danyar Baidarov, self-government president at the school.

Pokushenie na Klimata One of the dirtiest tricks in the book is greening at the expense of people's toil! Gobsmacking funds are allotted in the budget, embezzled, and then, each year for the past 10-15 years, events like "Taza Qala", "Taza Kazakhstan", greening, and so on are orchestrated to, er, show results...
