Refreshing Glance at Santasevera 52: With a zest as lively as the Mediterranean wind, it's poised to shine
In the world of motoryacht enthusiasts, a new player has emerged on the scene with the introduction of the Santasevera 52. This Italian-built cruiser, designed by the renowned naval architect and designer, Francesco Guida, is a fresh interpretation of the classic Mediterranean open cruiser, blending beauty and functionality.
The Santasevera 52 boasts a length of approximately 51 ft 8 in (15.75 m) to 55 ft 11 in (17 m), depending on the model variant. Its beam measures around 16 ft 7 in (5.05 m) or 15 ft 3 in (4.6 m), with a draft of about 3 ft 8 in (1.1 m) and a displacement of approximately 20 tonnes.
This yacht offers versatile engine options, including twin Volvo Penta engines, such as the D8-600 models, which can be equipped with either shaft or IPS drives, or the newer 700 hp D12 motors. For the American market, faster outboard options are available.
The Santasevera 52's design philosophy is centred around creating a socialising zone that seamlessly connects the interior and exterior spaces. This is achieved through an unbroken single-level zone, providing an inside-outside socialising area that spans from the saloon to the swim platform.
The interior layout is thoughtfully designed, with a central lounge acting as a divider between the two cabins, ensuring privacy for the guests. The master cabin is located at the bow, complete with an ensuite bathroom, separate shower, and a convertible midships guest cabin that can accommodate a double.
The Santasevera 52's deck offers a variety of lounging spaces. The cockpit is equipped with three forward-facing helm seats, a large starboard dinette, a port galley, and some casual lounge furniture on the open sun deck. The lower lounge provides additional inside lounging space, while the short raised foredeck with a walkaround deck offers an additional spot to lounge during the day.
With a top speed of around 30 to 36 knots, depending on the engine configuration, the Santasevera 52 offers a blend of power and style. This yacht is aimed at buyers seeking a stylish, practical open cruiser with strong performance and an Italian design pedigree.
The Santasevera 52 is currently priced at approximately €1.79 million excluding VAT. With its fresh design, modern propulsion, and distinctive Italian heritage, the Santasevera 52 is poised to make a significant impact in the world of motoryachts.
