Reflecting on 2019: A Recap of Hubstaff's Achievements

Hubstaff Announces Significant Product Updates and New Features in 2019

Hubstaff, a leading workforce management solution, has announced a series of notable updates and new features in 2019. These enhancements aim to streamline time tracking, project management, and team collaboration, while providing a more user-friendly experience.

David Judge, Co-founder at Affordable Staff and Online Specialists, stated that using Hubstaff saved them $170,000 per year compared to using freelance services for paying and managing people. Cody McLain, Founder of SupportNinja, also mentioned that switching to Hubstaff saved the company thousands of dollars in freelancer payment fees.

Enhanced time tracking and activity monitoring features were introduced, including improved automatic time capture and more refined screenshot capabilities. Project budgeting and invoicing tools were developed, tied to tracked hours. Mobile apps and integrations with other productivity and project management platforms were also developed.

Hubstaff's team grew by 15 members in 2019, and the company made the Inc. 5000 list for the second time, climbing to the 852nd spot. Early analytics and reporting improvements were also implemented to help managers assess productivity.

Notable updates to the user interface include a wider, lighter, and easier-to-collapse sidebar, and a new payments dialog with two clear steps for marking time as paid and exporting and sending payments to your team. Filters have been added to various pages for faster viewing and organization.

Hubstaff also introduced a notification center for specific alerts from your organization, and a helpful dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the app allows you to quickly switch between Hubstaff, Hubstaff Tasks, and Hubstaff Talent.

The reports page has been refreshed with a new look and easier navigation, removing any reports that aren't available to you. The Settings menu has been reorganized into groups for easier navigation.

In addition, Hubstaff launched Hubstaff Tasks, an Agile project management software. Hubstaff Tasks will introduce automated standups and time tracking in Hubstaff Tasks in 2020. The company is also planning to integrate with Zapier, sync all app timers, introduce work orders and jobs, improve timesheets, time off, invoices, activity, and more in 2020.

Furthermore, Hubstaff has made it easier to set up new hires, link them with a financial payment institute, and manage recurring holidays. The schedules page has a new look and more options to view, including daily, weekly, and team views.

Hubstaff can now automatically add new projects from some of its most popular integrations, including Asana, Clickup, Trello, JIRA, Pivotal, and Teamwork. To-dos can now be marked as complete right in your browser.

The company's desktop apps were updated with a new look and streamlined functionality, and Hubstaff also launched job sites, which use mobile device's GPS to automatically start and stop time tracking.

In 2020, Hubstaff is looking forward to growing and expanding into various markets and hosting their annual retreat. The team at Hubstaff is committed to continuing to provide innovative solutions for workforce management and productivity.
