OGV Vilzing & Laurentius Kindergarten Create Bountiful Harvest Altar

The OGV Vilzing and the children of Laurentius Kindergarten collaborated to create a bountiful harvest altar at the Vilzinger Sankt-Laurentius-Kirche's harvest festival last Sunday. The altar, a symbol of gratitude for the year's abundance, was impressively diverse and creatively designed.

The OGV Vilzing, a local gardening club, gathered a variety of field and garden fruits to adorn the altar. The children of Laurentius Kindergarten contributed their creative ideas, although the specific individual behind the altar's design remains unknown. The final product was a large 'thank you' made of corn cobs and corn kernels, expressing the community's gratitude to God for the year's abundant gifts.

The harvest altar was a highlight of the service, showcasing the community's unity and appreciation for the season's bounty.

The harvest festival at Vilzinger Sankt-Laurentius-Kirche was a success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the OGV Vilzing and the children of Laurentius Kindergarten. Their creative and diverse altar was a fitting tribute to the year's abundance and a testament to the community's spirit of gratitude.
