The 190th Oktoberfest is just around the corner, and this year promises to be a memorable one. Here's a rundown of some of the new attractions, events, and competitions that you can look forward to.

The tapping of the first keg of Oktoberfest beer will take place on Saturday, September 20th, with forecasts predicting a pleasant temperature of up to 28 degrees. The festivities will continue until October 5th.

One of the new additions to the Oktoberfest is the Weißbiergarten "Isarschänke," serving a unique drink called "Isarwasser." This Weißbier is mixed with Blue-Curaçao liqueur, creating a refreshing and exotic beverage.

Another exciting new attraction is the "Happy Sailor" gondola ride, located at Schaustellerstraße 10. This ride sails in a circle, moving forward, backward, and even sideways, offering a fun and unique experience for visitors.

The "Ghost Hole" ghost train, a classic favourite, has also made its return to the Oktoberfest. Operated by the family of Johann Schmid, this spooky train can be found at Plot 13. Interestingly, Johann Schmid started his concessionaire journey with an almond stand, but now operates the "Ghost Hole."

The "Ghost Hole" ghost train and the "Happy Sailor" gondola ride might be particularly appealing options for visitors due to potential wind, as they offer an alternative to traditional rides that may be affected by the weather.

Music lovers will be delighted to know that the song "Bierdringa" has won the "A Liad für d'Wiesn" competition. This competition determines the song that will be played in a small tent during the Oktoberfest. The small tent will be operated by Oliver Wendel (Augustiner am Platzl) and Katharina Wiemes.

The winner of the "A Liad für d'Wiesn" competition, Rosenheimer Michael Fenzl, was crowned at the Café Theres. The white and blue heart photo point is located in front of the Olympia-Looping, providing a picturesque backdrop for memories of the Oktoberfest.

Lastly, 50 packages with five ride tickets each are being given away for the Oktoberfest. To participate, simply call the provided number.

Get ready for an unforgettable Oktoberfest experience!
