Nordhorn's 'Kids' City NOHhausen' Returns This Autumn

Nordhorn is set to host an exciting experiential role-playing game, 'Kids' City NOHhausen', during the autumn holidays this year. The event, themed 'A Journey Around the World', will give around 80 children in grades 4, 5, and 6 the chance to build and manage their own city.

The Kids' City will take place from Tuesday, October 14 to Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Deegfeld School Center. Children will live independently in NOHhausen from 10 am to 5 pm each day, supervised by city employees. They will design various businesses, elect a mayor and city council, and actively shape city life. The participation fee is 90 euros, including catering, with discounts available using vouchers.

Registration is open until Thursday, September 25, 2025, exclusively online at www.youtube. This year marks the 13th edition of the Kids' City. On the final day, Friday, October 17, a big city festival will be held from 3 pm, with the Kids' City closing at 5:30 pm.

The Kids' City NOHhausen event in Nordhorn promises to be a unique learning experience for participating children. For more information, contact Hartwig Hesselink from the Youth Department of the city of Nordhorn.
