High-End Fashion Brand Khaite Ventures into Homeware with GINORI 1735

In a surprising move, high-end fashion brand Khaite has partnered with GINORI 1735 for its first-ever foray into homeware. This collaboration brings a touch of sartorial elegance to the world of home decor.

The partnership between Brooklinen and KULE also adds a dapper twist to usual white towels, with a navy colorway priced at $780. The towels can be rolled in a countertop basket or draped over a towel rack in the guest bath.

Navy is expected to become a new home decor color trend, with designers embracing its less severe, softer, and richer hue, often referred to as 'Old Money.' Decorating with navy suggests leisure, luxury, and prep.

GINORI 1735's homeware pieces, inspired by the pleats and ruffled hems of Khaite's RTW collections, add subtle sartorial cues to your living space. The modern living room side table, made of real marble and priced at $259, is ideal for bridging black accents like a lamp or vase. The side table has a rich navy surface laced with delicate black veins.

Playful, bulbous candlestick holders, priced at $17.99, are suggested for a design-forward navy living room idea. These candlestick holders can be paired with merlot or used with shiny chrome for a contrasting effect.

Valerie Stafford, partner and lead designer at Rumor Designs, states that navy can act as both a neutral and a pop of color, depending on how it is styled. She also suggests that navy and black can coexist beautifully, emphasizing the importance of balance and a common thread throughout the space.

A handblown glass decanter in petrol blue, priced at $39, is a statement piece for shelves and bar carts. This decanter, along with the GINORI 1735 homeware pieces, looks fabulous against black marble countertops.

Bold colors that go with navy blue include terracotta, making it a versatile choice for home decor. The collaboration between Brooklinen and KULE, as well as Khaite's partnership with GINORI 1735, are prime examples of how navy is making its mark in the world of home decor.

In the fashion world, brands like Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, and Coach are also embracing navy, with it making up a significant portion of their Fall 2024 collections. HV Polo has also selected navy for its Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, offering various products like jackets and pullovers in this color as part of their collection range.

As we move into the autumn and winter seasons, it seems that navy is set to become a staple color in both our homes and wardrobes.
