National 4-H Week 2025: Celebrating Youth Impact and Community Involvement
National 4-H week is underway, running from October 5 to 11, 2025. This annual event celebrates the youth development program's impact on participants across the nation. Each day brings a unique theme, kicking off with 'Go Green' day on Monday.
Tuesday is dedicated to 'How it Started to How It's Going', a day where parents and youth share their personal 4-H journey. Friday is 'Dreaming of your Future' day, encouraging participants to share their goals and how 4-H is helping them achieve them.
Wednesday is 'Wear it Wednesday', where participants show off their favorite 4-H shirt. Meanwhile, 4-H clubs have been busy participating in a display contest, highlighting their community involvement. The winners of the 2025 4-H display contest Clock Trophy were Henry Engard, Sidney Engard, McKinley Kuns, Grace Miller, Aidan Thomas, Ezdon Vetter, and Micaela Wiechman, each excelling in different project areas.
Saturday is focused on sharing how to get involved in 4-H with volunteers, youth, local businesses, and more. Locker signs are available for students to show their 4-H pride. Lastly, Thursday is '4-H for Good' day, emphasizing community service and volunteering.
National 4-H week is packed with activities that celebrate the program's impact on youth, their families, and communities. Through various themes and events, participants are encouraged to reflect on their journey, dream big, and give back.
