On the bustling streets of Brucknerallee in Berlin, preparations are underway for a vibrant three-day event that promises to bring together artists, gastronomers, and families for a celebration of creativity, culinary delights, and live entertainment. Organised by Campus e.V., the 25 Hours of Live Programming event is set to return from August 15 to 18, 2023.
The heart of the event will be the artisan market, located on Richard-Wagner-Straße, curated by Harald Dewies. Over 25 artisans will showcase their works, ranging from goldsmithing to watercolors to upcycling, with around 26 international artists participating. The market will offer a diverse array of cocktail stands, winemakers, and new food trucks, providing a culinary mile that is expected to be the most varied in the event's history. Delights from Italian, French, and Asian cuisines will be on offer, with three gastronomers from previous years also returning to the scene.
The event area will be adorned with 15 colorful flower lamps, creating a festive atmosphere that will last for the entire 25 hours of live programming. The ceremonial opening will be handled by Mayor Felix Heinrichs, and the festivities will kick off with Kings for a Day as the top act on Friday evening. On Saturday evening, Deejay Plus will take the stage as the headliner. After the Sparkassen family program on Sunday, the grand finale will be performed by the Remember Band.
In addition to the live music, the event will offer over 17 children's attractions, including airbrush tattoos, a carousel, table tennis, balance bike course, Bobby Car course, bungee trampoline, bouncy castle, and a mini fairground. This family-friendly event has been a fixed date in the regional event calendar since 2003, connecting cities and drawing in visitors from far and wide.
