"Royal Vistas: Queen Victoria's Visit to Schloss Molsdorf" delves into the past, reminding us of a private encounter in August 1845 between the young British Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and the grandiose Baroque castle. Back then, Schloss Molsdorf was a part of the Duchy of Saxony-Coburg and Gotha, a noble house that Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert (1819-1861), hailed from.
The exhibition features an intriguing assortment of historical black-and-white photographs and royal keepsakes - replicas of watercolors capturing enchanting views of the castle, the originals safely preserved in the royal vaults in London.
