Meet Ozzie: Oberlin's Accessibility Coordinator & Double Major in Dance & Sociology

Meet Ozzie, an Accessibility Coordinator at Harkness Co-op for the Oberlin Student Cooperative Association (OSCA). This multitalented individual hails from a small town in western Massachusetts and is currently pursuing a unique academic path at Oberlin.

Ozzie is part of the first cohort of BA/BFA dual degree students at Oberlin. They are double majoring in Dance and Sociology, with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, & Feminist Studies (GSFS). When not busy with their studies, Ozzie enjoys teaching a class with the Oberlin Contact Improvisation Collective (OCIC) through the Experimental College. In their free time, Ozzie can be found relaxing with crossword puzzles or caring for plants.

Ozzie's role as an Accessibility Coordinator involves ensuring that the co-op is inclusive and accessible to all students. They work tirelessly to create an environment where everyone can participate fully and comfortably.

Ozzie's dedication to accessibility and their passion for dance, sociology, and gender studies make them a valuable asset to the Oberlin community. Their unique background and interests contribute to the diverse and vibrant atmosphere of the college.
