In the heart of Russia's Ural Mountains, the city of Chelyabinsk is witnessing a green transformation. The Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Combine (PAO "ChMK"), a key player in the "Mechel" Group, has partnered with the public environmental organization "Green City" to launch a city-wide tree-planting campaign.

The first tree planting of the campaign took place in the square near the Palace of Culture of ChMK. The campaign is the second year of ecological activists from ChMK and "Green City" greening city areas.
