Man from Kansas City displays his Star Wars toy collection at a museum
Meet Dallas' own Duncan Jenkins, a guy who's got one heck of a Star Wars toy collection! Get ready to geek out because on May 4th, The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures is opening a show themed around everyone's favorite galaxy far, far away.
As the force draws near, it's important to know a bit more about the man behind the toys. Duncan Jenkins, a Kansas City resident, is renowned for his mind-blowing collection of approximately 200,000 Star Wars memorabilia pieces. That's right, you read it correctly. His collection is so expansive that it's the second most complete in the world[2][3][4]!
The museum's exhibit displaying Duncan's collection is aptly named "The Nostalgia Awakens: Retro Kenner Star Wars Action Figure Toys," which has been in place since May 2, 2025[2]. If that's not enough, he's also got his own private museum, fondly referred to as "The Sithsonian," nestled near his abode[3].
