Maltese Hosts Info Evenings on Visiting & Accompanying Service with Dogs in November
The Maltese are hosting two information evenings in November for their Visiting and Accompanying Service with Dogs. The events, taking place on November 1st and 15th at 7 pm, will last approximately two to two and a half hours. Registrations are open via email to [email protected].
The service, active in Braunschweig since 2011, offers diverse uses. It teaches children about respectful dog handling and behavioral rules in kindergartens and schools. Specially trained dogs, accompanied by handlers, bring joy to various institutions and individuals, including nursing and care homes where residents can interact with them, even in their rooms. This year, the Maltese are forming new human-dog teams for visits to kindergartens, schools, senior facilities, and hospices.
The leaders of the November information evenings have not been announced yet. However, upon registration, the location and details of the events will be communicated.
The Maltese are inviting the public to learn more about their Visiting and Accompanying Service with Dogs at the information evenings on November 1st and 15th. Registrations are open via email, and further details will be provided upon signing up.
