The much-anticipated Summer Festival in Wuppertal is set to run until August 24th, offering an extended period for locals and visitors to enjoy a variety of exhibits, activities, and events.

Over 50 exhibitors from the region will showcase a diverse range of products, including gardening, home, art, and craft items. From farm-fresh delicacies and wines from Luisenviertel, to bookbinding, wool and beads, bags, leather or silk flowers, unique jewelry, knitting, fashion, garden decor, minerals, fragrant plants and herbs, sun protection, and basket weaving, there's something for everyone.

The festival also includes creative activities for children, such as a playmobile and numerous hands-on activities to keep the little ones entertained.

In addition to the market stalls, the event features stands on current topics, including "Nature Up Close" with the Nature and Environment station, "Seeds and Plants" with the Bergische Garden Arche, carnivorous plants, "Painting Greifzangen" for the "Talputz" with the Environmental Consultation, "Sustainable Handling of Clothing and Shoes" with the Consumer Advice, waste consultation with the AWG, hospice care, holistic health, and hedgehog help.

The festival takes place in the Botanical Garden, on the Elisenplatz, and the meadow area around the glasshouses. Visitors are encouraged to arrive by suspended railway and bus due to limited parking.

A highlight of the festival is the large book market in the glasshouse and the flea market, which will also remain open until August 24th.

For those seeking a panoramic view of the festival grounds, the Botanical Garden, and the city of Wuppertal, the Elisen Tower will be open on both festival days.
