Incident Report: Bicycle thefts involving pedelecs in Heilbronn city and county
Over the weekend, two incidents occurred in the Heilbronn-Neckarsulm region that have raised concerns. In Obergriesheim, nearly 20 old tires were illegally dumped in a nature reserve, while a vehicle accident took place on the A81 near Weinsberg. Additionally, two e-bikes were stolen in Neckarsulmer Marktstraße.
According to the Police Headquarters Heilbronn, the tires were presumably transported to the Tiefenbachtal and left there between Friday and Monday. The exact details about who dumped the tires remain unknown. On a related note, the driver of a Volvo, aged 20, lost control of the vehicle around 2 a.m. near Obergriesheim, possibly due to not adapting his speed. The Volvo came to a stop on its roof, and the trailer was separated, ending up on its side. The Volvo's three occupants, aged 19 and 20, were taken to hospitals with minor injuries.
