The Bad Kötzting Forest Association Section has announced a change in the departure location for the upcoming hike around Hammersee in Bodenwöhr, scheduled for August 2nd.
Originally planned to start from the usual large parking lot on Ludwigstraße, the hike will now depart from the Bayerwald-Therme in Bodenwöhr due to the ADAC Bayerwald-Rallye Classic event in Bad Kötzting. This adjustment aims to avoid route conflicts and traffic congestion caused by the rally.
The hike is described as an easy afternoon excursion, suitable for a relaxed and enjoyable walk around Hammersee. The approximately six-kilometer long hike follows the lake shore with no significant inclines.
Participants are advised to assemble at the train station for the hike. A bus will be provided for the event. Registration can still be made through Martha Steppan.
It is recommended to check the updated departure time for the hike. The departure time has been corrected from 1:30 PM to 12:30 PM.
