Graatzl artists host studio open houses on Saturday

Say Hello to the 5th Graetzl Art Open this Saturday!

Get ready to explore the artistic side of Vienna's 15th district, Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, as the Graetzl Art Open invades both district halves on May 3rd, 2025, from 2 PM to 7 PM. The event has grown steadily since its first showing and is now set to bring more than 100 local artists together with you, the curious onlooker.

Open studios, workshops, and galleries galore!

With over 32 stations to discover, you'll have the opportunity to visit open studios, workshops, and galleries in Rudolfsheim, Nibelungenviertel, Fünfhaus, and even beyond, as Neubau gets in on the action. Artists will be present to answer questions and showcase their work. Break free from the art elitism and be captivated by "very accessible works."

The art world's lovable rebel, Linda Steiner!

A rising star who's making waves beyond the district, Linda Steiner, a painter and sculptor, hopes the action will inspire those who usually shy from the art world. Her striking, several-meter-high female sculpture is just one of the impressive works on display at Studio Walls in Loehrgasse 9.

Art against vacancy, and revitalization to boot!

By using former industrial spaces like the piano factory where Steiner's sculpture is located, the Graetzl Art Open is doing its part to prevent vacancy in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus. The project is close to Peter Hörburger's heart, as well as the "graetzlgalerie" association, who work together to give life to these properties and foster local artistic growth.
