Goslar extended an invitation for a summer volunteer speed dating event.
The volunteer speed dating event, MachMit!, is set to return to the City of Goslar and Vienenburg, offering a unique opportunity for local volunteers and organizations to connect.
Organized by the City of Goslar, the Volunteer Agency of the Diakonie in the Braunschweig region, the VVV - Vienenburger Associations and Associations, this event aims to help volunteers find organizations that align with their interests and skills.
Martin Sänger from the MachMit! House of the City of Goslar expresses his optimism, stating, "Volunteering should fit like a good relationship."
The speed dating format is a modern and efficient way for volunteers and organizations to connect, potentially developing long-term commitments. The event is designed to make volunteer recruitment dynamic and personalized, ensuring that people find suitable ways to contribute to their community.
Participants will have the chance to meet up to 25 associations, institutions, and initiatives in short, four-minute "dates". After the initial get-to-know-you phase, there is time for in-depth conversations, questions, and further interactions at the subsequent get-together.
The volunteer speed dating event will take place in Vienenburg on August 30, at 7 pm on the market square. Registrations for interested citizens have already begun and can be made online. Registrations for associations and organizations looking for committed supporters are also accepted.
The event was successful during its launch in November in Goslar and is set to repeat its success in Vienenburg. The evening event is hoping for a summery evening sky and many motivated people who will be enthusiastic about volunteering.
If you're interested in volunteering or looking for dedicated supporters, don't miss out on this opportunity to connect and make a difference in your community. For specific details like dates, location, or how to register, please check with local organizing bodies such as community centers or volunteer agencies in Goslar/Vienenburg.
This unique event, MachMit!, offers a chance for volunteers to connect with their preferred home-and-garden or lifestyle-focused organizations, as it brings together various associations and initiatives for short, efficient meetings. In alignment with Martin Sänger's sentiment, volunteers can find organizations that perfectly match their interests and skills, fostering a long-term, fulfilling lifestyle contribution to their community.
