Global carpet tiles and luxury vinyl tiles unveiled for long-lasting, stylish interior designs
Interface, a leading flooring company, has recently launched two global collections - Dressed Lines carpet tile and Lasting Impressions luxury vinyl tile (LVT). These collections are now available and can be experienced in Interface showrooms and at leading design industry events worldwide.
The Lasting Impressions collection, inspired by traditional crafts such as tatami weaving and plaster artisanship, offers a unique blend of timeless visuals and advanced technology. The collection features six styles with eight complementary color combinations, including the woven-inspired Heirloom style, which takes inspiration from tatami weaving. Heirloom is available in twelve colorways inspired by natural elements, such as Canvas, Plaster, Rice Paper, and Beryl.
The Heirloom style, along with the rest of the collection, benefits from Interface's Ceramor+® ceramic bead coating. This coating provides practical benefits such as minimizing everyday scratching and scuffing, as well as enhancing slip resistance, making the products highly durable and suitable for enduring high-traffic environments.
The Dressed Lines carpet tile collection, inspired by post-war modernism, boasts a low carbon footprint and superior performance benefits. All its styles are Cradle to Cradle Certified® v3.1 Silver in Europe.
The Lasting Impressions LVT collection also introduces the new Sound Choice+TM acoustic backing in the EMEA market. This backing reduces impact sound by up to 19 dB, ensuring minimal disturbances between floors and rooms.
Kelly Simcox, Head of Global Design at Interface, commented that the collections tell a story highlighting nature, the human experience, and how we work, learn, and live together. The collections are on display at Interface's Clerkenwell showroom, along with products from FLOR and nora® rubber flooring.
Visitors to the showroom can also learn about Interface's sustainability progress as the company works towards its goal to be carbon negative by 2040. The Lasting Impressions collection has a lower carbon footprint of 6.8 kg CO2e/m2, a reduction of 26% from all previous LVT products.
The collection also includes bolder products like Angular Times and Accent Hour, which encourage designers to go bold with their designs, featuring angular patterns and pops of white accents, offered in 25 cm x 1 m formats.
In summary, Interface's Lasting Impressions collection offers a durable, timeless flooring product suited for a variety of interiors, combining natural visual inspiration with advanced protective coating. The collection's design inspiration, surface coating, colorways, and durability make it an ideal choice for those seeking stylish and sustainable flooring solutions.
