Fire-lighting events span four days in Breckerfeld: detailed information
The Breckerfeld Fair is currently underway in the heart of the town center, offering a delightful mix of attractions for all ages. From traditional beer stalls and local cuisine along Frankfurter Straße and Denkmalstraße, to thrilling rides and a mobile disco operated by the city sports association in Denkmalstraße, there's something for everyone.
Music lovers can look forward to live performances by various artists. On Saturday evening, "smithy live" will take the stage from 7-11 pm, while on Sunday, "Twinbeats" will entertain the crowd from 5-9 pm. Unfortunately, the breakdancer performance has been cancelled at short notice. However, a magic clown show is scheduled for Saturday at the Jakobus fountain from 3-5 pm, and a puppet theatre performance for all ages will take place on Sunday at 3 pm.
For those seeking a more tranquil experience, an ecumenical service will be held on Sunday at 1 pm (in the church in case of rain).
The festivities will reach their climax on Monday with the fireworks display "Breckerfeld in flames" at Martin-Luther Park, scheduled for 11 pm. Additionally, the cover band "painfreerocks" will perform on Monday at 8 pm.
