Filson & Birkenstock Team Up for Rugged, Comfortable Footwear Collection
Filson, renowned for rugged outdoor clothing, has teamed up with Birkenstock to launch a footwear collection. The range, priced between $375 and $625, includes the London Methow Shoe, Lahti hunting boot, and Skykomish utility boot. It will hit shelves on both brands' websites and select retailers from October 22.
The collection showcases each brand's expertise. The London Methow, a low-top moccasin-toe shoe, boasts a unique buckle design and an anatomical cork/latex footbed. The Lahti hunting boot offers a vintage look with collapsible uppers made of 100% Mackinaw wool and a supportive Deep Blue footbed. Meanwhile, the Skykomish utility boot features a side zipper, water-resistant oil-finished Tin Cloth waxed cotton fabric, and a cleated outsole for grip.
The collaboration combines Filson's outdoor-ready clothing heritage with Birkenstock's sandal-making prowess. The collection will be available at the Printemps Haussmann department store in Paris, among other select retailers.
