The city of Kansas City is gearing up for its annual Summer Fair (Bruchmarkt), which will take place from June 18 to 21. This much-anticipated event will be held in the Bruchberg and Rosental event area.

During the fair, the Rosental will be closed to traffic from June 16, 7 p.m., to June 22, 10 a.m. The Rosental bus stop will be temporarily moved to Doktorweg during the closure. Motorists are advised to avoid the affected inner-city area and use alternative parking spaces at Lustgarten (P1), Kronenplatz (P7), and Wotanstraße/Parkhaus am Finanzamt (P9).

Despite the traffic disruptions, the city portal asks for understanding from all road users. Access to the parking garage of the business building Lange Str. 73 will remain possible via Woldemarstraße.

The Summer Fair promises a fun-filled extravaganza with around 40 vendors, numerous food and drink stands, traders, and a variety of rides for both adults and children. Visitors can enjoy various sweet treats like donuts, roasted almonds, crepes, and churros.

The event offers a range of exciting rides, including the Auto-Skooter, Biene Maja, Kindersportkarussell, ball and arrow throwing games, and a shooting gallery. Safety measures will be ensured with barriers and entry controls.

Traders will present a colorful selection of goods such as socks, bags, jewelry, and other items. The traditional summer fair is not just about food and rides; it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture and community spirit.
