Many cultural events, such as theater and opera performances, cinemas, concerts, and sporting events, offer reduced admission fees for pensioners. Museums and exhibitions, like Hamburg Miniatur Wunderland and the German Museum in Munich, also have cheaper tickets for seniors.

Education is another area where pensioners can take advantage of the digital ID. Numerous adult education centres offer special courses for seniors and reduced fees for their entire course program. Furthermore, many universities allow pensioners to participate in lectures as part of a senior study program.

If a pensioner loses their digital pensioner ID, they can order a new one online through the "Renten Service" website of the German Post.
