Detmold's Public Baths Prepare for Busy Summer with Extended Hours and New Schedule
Detmold's public baths, managed by DetCon, are preparing for a bustling summer season. DetCon has strengthened its lifeguard teams with additional recruits, including personnel from the local fire department. The public swimming pool in Detmold will commence the season on Monday, July 6, 2025. DetCon aims to extend the opening hours in all public storage facilities by the end of July, thanks to the reinforcement of personnel. Starting from July 7, each of the four public storage facilities will have a weekly closure day, ensuring that at least one facility remains open every day of the week. This new schedule aims to balance the needs of bathers with the resources available.
