Detmold's Outdoor Swimming Season Winds Down

The outdoor swimming season in Detmold is drawing to a close. This weekend marks the end of the 2025 season, with several pools set to shut their gates for the winter. Hiddesen outdoor pool will close on Sunday, August 31, while Fischerteich outdoor pool will bid farewell to swimmers a day earlier, on Saturday, August 30.

For those looking to make the most of the remaining summer days, Outdoor Pool Berlebeck and Schwarzenbrink are both open until Friday, September 12, 2025. Their opening hours are as follows:

Outdoor Pool Berlebeck: Monday to Wednesday and Friday 12:00 - 19:00, Thursday 13:00 - 19:00, Saturday and Sunday 12:00 - 18:30.

Outdoor Pool Schwarzenbrink: Monday 13:00 - 19:00, Tuesday to Friday 11:30 - 19:00, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 - 18:30.

Both pools will close at 6:30 PM on their final day.

With the outdoor swimming season coming to an end, Detmold residents and visitors alike are encouraged to enjoy the last few weeks of swimming at Outdoor Pool Berlebeck and Schwarzenbrink before they too close for the winter.
