Defying her cerebral palsy and hues of pain, an Emirati artist wields her foot to create a vibrant depiction of life.

Moza Abdullah bin Dheiban, a 28-year-old artist from the United Arab Emirates, has made a significant impact in the art world and beyond. Living with cerebral palsy, a condition that affects her muscle control, has not hindered her creativity.

Nine years ago, bin Dheiban began experimenting with painting by holding the brush between her toes. Today, her studio is filled with brushes, canvases, and bold colors, where she paints using her foot instead of her hands.

Bin Dheiban's art serves as both personal liberation and a universal message of resilience. Her persistence has led to her recognition as the most prolific artist at Sharjah's "Art for All Center," with dozens of her paintings now hanging there.

In an interview earlier this year, bin Dheiban described her journey from self-doubt to recognition. She expressed her desire to prove to herself that nothing can stop her from creating. Her cerebral palsy has become a source of inspiration for her art, as she has found a way to turn her physical limitation into a new artistic language.

Bin Dheiban's influence extends beyond the art world. She has become a quiet ambassador of perseverance, inspiring others to overcome their challenges and pursue their dreams. Her art is not confined to galleries and exhibitions; it can be found in various public spaces, serving as a testament to her resilience and creativity.

Moza Abdullah bin Dheiban's art is a beautiful example of how one can turn adversity into opportunity. Her story is a reminder that with determination and creativity, one can overcome any obstacle and make a meaningful impact in the world.
