Dance lessons for Lindy Hop, Tai Chi Chuan, and Yin Yoga held on a hard surface
Join Swing Youth and others for a variety of dance, Tai Chi, and yoga events taking place at Elisenplatz and Glasshouse in July.
On Friday, July 25, Angela Pfeiff will lead a Yin Yoga class from 9 to 10:15 AM in front of the Glasshouse. This class focuses on deep relaxation and is known for introducing the art of mindfulness. Registration is required, so please contact Angela at 0178 / 4567654 or [email protected].
It's important to note that this Yoga class is a standalone event, not related to the Lindy Hop or Tai Chi Chuan classes.
On Thursday, July 24, a new Tai Chi Chuan trial course will begin at 6 PM. This class, led by Ursula and Manfred Mestel from the Tai Chi Chuan Federation Rhein Wupper, takes place on the meadow in front of the Glasshouses. Participants are advised to bring comfortable clothing and flat shoes.
If you're interested in dance, Swing Youth organizes social dance sessions such as swing or other styles at Elisenplatz. The exact dates and times for these events can be found on Swing Youth's official website or social media channels, as well as local event listings for Elisenplatz and Glasshouse.
Please note that the Lindy Hop event takes place indoors at the Glasshouse during rain, while the Yoga class will not take place if it rains. The location for the Yoga class has not been specified in case of rain.
