The Thuringian artist Cosima Göpfert will grace the Schlossmuseum Arnstadt on Pentecost Saturday, June 7th. From 13:00, she'll be welcoming guests alongside museum director Gabriella Szalay in the exhibition "Exquisit Biscuit". Known for her transformation of societal and political themes into whimsical porcelain objects, Cosima's special exhibition features artistically designed bread rolls and buns crafted from none other than porcelain! From 12:00 to 16:00, the Verein Schlossmuseum Arnstadt e.V. will treat visitors to Thuringian sausage.
On Pentecost Sunday, June 8th, Arnstadt cookbook author and show chef Tanya Harding will be gracing the Schlossmuseum. From 14:00, she'll be serving up historical bread recipes for tastings and baking.

🌿 Green Thumbs and Quick Threads
Starting June 20th, two new weekly working groups have sprouted at the children and youth center "Auf der Setze" in Arnstadt – "Quick Thread" on Mondays and "Green Thumb" on Thursdays. On June 20th, the "Garden Festival" will take place, inviting children, young people, parents, and grandparents, former and curious visitors to the Setze from 15:30.
One week later, on June 27th, the annual "School's out" festival will kick off the summer holidays. Social workers from the children, youth, and family support service will host the event on the grounds of the "Marcel Kittel Sports Center" in Ichtershausen for the first time.

When the roses bloom in June and their enchanting scent fills the gardens, it's rose time in Holzhausen. On Saturday, June 7th, at 19:00, a hilarious evening titled "Scent and Divas" awaits visitors in the Holy Trinity Church. You'll come across the Rose Queen, who presents her "floral" subjects with royal wit and self-irony, as well as a humorously argumentative gardener ensuring some grounded wit.
Besides rose poems, the audience can look forward to an affectionate tribute to this legendary flower. The handover of the throne of the Rose Queen to the reigning Rose Princess of Holzhausen will be the climactic highlight, complete with a glimpse into the diverse products of the local rose farm. The famous Rose Bowle, of course, can't be missed. Admission is free, but a suitable donation is requested.

The KHW GmbH from Geschwenda has been selected as one of ten projects nationwide for this year's "Doors open with the mouse" action. This gives them the chance that the team of the "With the mouse" show will come to them, make a contribution about the company, and broadcast it in the big special show on the Day of German Unity. On the occasion of the Mouse Door Opener Day, the company will open its doors to families on October 3rd and offer exclusive insights into production, creativity, and passion for high-quality and sustainable plastic products.
The "With the mouse" editorial team has selected ten special projects that will each be presented in a 30-second trailer on www.diemaus.de and www.kika.de from June 1st to 15th, 2025. Children and adults throughout Germany can vote for which three projects will be featured in an in-depth feature story in the Mouse special show on October 3rd.
