Wondershare Filmora comes with tons of great stuff, like a thick library of free effects, transitions, text, and other elements (more if you pay), making it simple for you to create killer videos without much effort.

Step 1 - Load Preparation

1. Open Up Filmora: Fire up Filmora on your computer, and create a fresh project.
2. Gather Your Videos: Drag and drop your travel footage from your computer into Filmora's "Project Media" section. Pro tip: Organize your clips by creating labeled folders before you start editing for a more seamless experience.
3. Add Tunes: Throw in the background music for your video. Filmora supplies you with a bunch of free tracks, or you can use your own. But remember, if you plan on sharing content on platforms like YouTube, make sure you've got all the rights to the music you use.

Step 2 - Order, Edit, and Organize

1. Which Clips to Use?: Make a selection of the clips you want to use for your travel video.
2. Arrange Clips: Put your chosen clips in order by clicking and dragging them straight onto the video track at the bottom of the screen. Adjust the clip's duration by shortening it with a click and drag or snipping with the orange scissors icon.
3. Edit Options: Right-click on a clip in the video track for additional editing options, like muting the audio, speeding up or slowing down the clip, or doing color correction to enhance appearance.

Step 3 - Get Creative with Transitions and Effects

1. Scroll through the Effects Library: You'll find plenty of frames, overlays, graphics, animations, and stylisations in Filmora's vast effects library.
2. Add Effects: To add an effect, click the plus button above your tracks layout and add a 2nd video track. Then drag your chosen effect onto the new video track above the clip you want the overlay to appear on.
3. Add Transitions: Learn how to make your travel video even more engaging with cinematic transitions between clips. To add a transition, simply drag your chosen one straight onto the video track, either at the end of a clip or between two clips.

Step 4 - Add Text and Titles

1. Search for Text: Comb the text library for an option that floats your boat. Drag your chosen title onto your video track, and you can position it over your video or by itself.
2. Customize: Modify text style, color, and animation to make it your own.

Step 5 - Export Your Masterpiece

Once you're happy with your fabulous travel video, you can share it with the world! Click "Export", then "Create Video", and select the file format. Don't forget to change the quality to "Best" before you export for optimal results.
