Commemorative open day unfolds in Zanders region - 2 p.m. gathering for discussion on urban development plans

On September 13, 2025, citizens are invited to attend an informative and interactive session at the "Museum" located in the heart of the Zanders-Area. This urban quarter, a significant location in urban development, will be open for public visitation on the day, showcasing historical industrial architecture.

The event, which is part of the nationwide Day of Open Heritage, will feature a specific information session on the development planning of the Zanders-Area from 2 pm to 4 pm. During this session, the project team will present the current status of the plans, providing attendees with valuable insights into the project's progress.

The planning office "Modellstadt Consult" is working together with the project team for the development of the Zanders-Area. Additionally, the renowned planning office Albert Speer and Partners (AS+P) is also involved in the development planning of the Zanders-Area.

The Zanders-Area, including the "Museum", will be open for public visitation from 11 am to 6 pm on September 13, 2025. This offers a unique opportunity for citizens to engage directly with the project team and share their thoughts on the development of the Zanders-Area.

Throughout the day, citizens are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss suggestions about the Zanders-Area during the hands-on session, which will run concurrently with the information session.
