Cleaning Expert Shares Top Tips for Spotless Kitchen

Dennis Josef Meseg, a renowned cleaning expert, shares his top tips for maintaining a spotless kitchen. His recommendations, published in a recent article, focus on simple yet effective methods for various kitchen surfaces.

Meseg suggests washing your sink like dishes after use. Apply hot water, dish soap, and a sponge to remove grime. To prevent bacterial growth, dry your sponge every night using a binder clip or stainless steel holder.

For stainless steel sinks, a quick dusting of flour and a microfiber cloth can remove tiny bits of grime. To clean your disposal, use a foaming cleaner to reach the underside of the splash guard and interior side walls.

Meseg's microwave cleaning hack involves heating a bowl of water for five minutes, letting it sit, and then wiping off stuck-on grime. Mineral oil can be used to clean sticky, dusty buildup on range hoods and appliances. For cooked-on gunk on stoves, mix water and polish cleanser into a paste and scrub.

To freshen up smelly garbage disposals, clean the underside of the splash guard with an old toothbrush. For sponges, a one-minute zap in the microwave kills 99.9% of bacteria. To restore scratched porcelain sinks, use a soft cleanser and polish.

Dennis Josef Meseg's cleaning tips offer practical solutions for maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen. From sinks to disposals, his methods are simple, effective, and use common household items.
