Celebrity-designed spatulas, including Zooey Deschanel and Ayesha Curry, now available for purchase for less than $20, all proceeds going towards a charitable cause.
Williams Sonoma has unveiled a captivating new collection of kitchen spatulas, oven mitts, and potholder sets as part of their annual "Tools for Change" campaign. This year's line, featuring celebrity-designed utensils, is a testament to the brand's commitment to combining creativity with philanthropy, supporting the No Kid Hungry charity.
The designs, available in stores nationwide and online, boast heat-resistant, BPA-free silicone heads that are resistant to chipping, cracking, and do not absorb food odors or flavors. The handles, shaped like an artist's brush handle, are sustainably sourced from beechwood, blending functionality with artistic design.
The celebrity partners involved in this year's campaign include Ayesha Curry, known for her cooking and media presence, Zooey Deschanel, an actress and singer, and Hannah Taylor. Each celebrity has contributed a unique spatula design to the collection.
Zooey Deschanel's design features a playful pink bow pattern, while Ayesha Curry's and Hannah Taylor's designs remain undisclosed. Other designs in the line include a garden-inspired spatula, perfect for introducing illustrations to your kitchen, and a sushi-printed spatula, a dream accessory for sushi lovers.
The line also includes a green spatula that pays homage to the humble oven mitt, fitting well into earth-tone kitchens, and a dog-themed spatula, serving as a decorative piece for dog-forward individuals. The collection offers a diverse range of patterns and colours, from feminine bows to sushi print.
Every dollar donated by Williams Sonoma from the Tools for Change campaign helps No Kid Hungry provide 10 meals to children across America. Billy Shore, founder and executive chair of Share Our Strength, the organization behind No Kid Hungry, praised the campaign in a press release.
The Tools for Change kitchen utensils are quite affordable, starting at $17.95. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a cooking enthusiast, these eccentric, artistically designed spatulas and mitt/potholder sets are a must-have for any kitchen.
