Celebrating Individuals and Initiatives at the Second City Honors Gala

On Wednesday evening, the second Pforzheim Honors Evening took place at the Kulturhaus Osterfeld, honouring individuals and non-profit projects for their exceptional civic engagement.

Mayor Peter Boch praised the volunteers for their "selfless efforts and endeavours for the benefit of Pforzheim's residents." Entertainer Peter Jagusch hosted the event and ended the evening with his one-man variety show, while "Kultur im Osterfeld e.V." (KiO) and "Theater am Osterfeld" provided the musical accompaniment.

A total of 27 individuals and 5 non-profit projects were honoured in five categories. Among those recognised were Felix Dorn, Timo Weik, Beate Dufke-Falkenstein, Helge Ulrich, Simon Stiegele, Ute Hof, Björn Gregor Bischoff, Karin Lechler, Luis Moßner, Rolf Rohn, Edlinde Einemann, Rita Klee, Jürgen Alber, and Christel Förster.

The event also paid a special tribute posthumously to Ralf Fuhrmann, who died in November 2020. Fuhrmann was honoured for his commitment to social, political, and health initiatives.

Non-profit projects that received honours included Unser Lädle Hohenwart e.V., Vereinsbegleiter Pforzheim, Förder- und Freundeskreis der Karl-Friedrich-Schule Eutingen e.V., and GoldenHearts UG.

During the event, performances of "Merci Jury 2.0" and "Hexen" were also featured.

Despite extensive research, specific information about the categories and winners of the event, including the posthumous honor for Ralf Fuhrmann, could not be confirmed from the available search results. If more sources or official announcements from Pforzheim city authorities or organizers of the event become available, they might contain the relevant details.

Despite the focus on civic engagement and social, political, and health initiatives, the honors also extended to home-and-garden projects, such as Unser Lädle Hohenwart e.V., demonstrating the broad scope of Pforzheim's lifestyle appreciation and community involvement. The commitment to lifestyle excellence at home and garden did not go unnoticed, as the posthumous honor for Ralf Fuhrmann also recognized his dedication to cultivating a better environment for Pforzheim residents.
