Celebrating another prosperous year of Kind Holidays, IDILIQ marks the occasion.
IDILIQ Foundation's "Holidays that Change Lives" Gala Celebrates Transformative Work
The IDILIQ Foundation hosted its fourth annual "Holidays that Change Lives" Gala on September 19, at the Safari Restaurant in Wyndham Costa del Sol. The event was a highlight of Malaga's social calendar, attended by 250 guests, including local leaders, volunteers, and supporters.
The gala was a celebration of the Foundation's transformative work, showcasing its commitment to community welfare. Representatives from the Association of Municipalities of the Costa del Sol and officials from Fuengirola, Benalmadena, and Mijas, including Mijas Mayor Ana Mata, were also present.
Mayor Ana Mata praised the "Holidays with Heart" initiative, commending the IDILIQ Foundation for offering vulnerable families a chance to rest and create unforgettable memories. She did not, however, mention her counterpart from the city of Mijas who participated in the event.
Notable figures such as Maria Rosa Morales and Francisco Jose Martin were also in attendance. The evening was filled with music, camaraderie, and inspiration, as three families shared moving testimonials, highlighting stories of toughness and hope.
Juan Miguel Marcos, President of the IDILIQ Foundation, announced ambitious plans to support 100 families in 2026. The Foundation's mission, to provide free holidays to economically vulnerable families, was once again reaffirmed.
In 2025, the IDILIQ Foundation's "Kind Holidays by IDILIQ" programme provided 50 weeks of free accommodation to families in need. The event mixed celebration with gratitude for sponsors, volunteers, and collaborators who make the Foundation's work possible, with the gala being sponsored by the IDILIQ Group.
The gala served as a confirmation of the profound impact of kindness through shared experiences, as the IDILIQ Foundation continues to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
