Castle Linn's Melodies: Introducing the Latest Performances

Get ready for a stellar musical journey! Jürgen Eichendorf, the wise organizer of Serenades at Burg Linn, has announced an mouth-watering lineup for the upcoming 2025/26 season. Music enthusiasts will rejoice as the prices remain steady, making this a delightful treat for everyone.

With a whopping 117 season tickets sold last year - a record-breaking number - theChart-topping chamber concerts in the historic Knights' Hall are clearly a fan-favorite. Even the musicians who grace these hallowed walls can't get enough, often snapping photos of Burg Linn's old walls on their phones (talk about fan-girling!).

The summer kicks off on Friday, August 29, with the Querflötenquartett VerQuer taking the stage, bringing a lively repertoire of Bach, Mozart, and modern pieces to entertain the crowds.

On Friday, September 26, the Alinda Quartett will surprise us with an intriguing program that includes Ravel, Bazzini, Schubert, and more, moderated by a renowned actor.

Fast forward to Friday, October 24, where four young musicians will captivate the audience with "In Friendship" under the title "Barock Plus," performing works by Handel, Telemann, Bach, and Vivaldi on various instruments.

Next up on Friday, November 14, the Davidoff Trio will serenade the crowd with tunes by Haydn, Vasks, and Arenski on violin, cello, and piano.

As we ring in the holiday season on December 31, the Trio Lézard's "Le Tango des Fratellini" will enchant us with its track record spanning from Renaissance to modernity.

When the new year of 2026 rolls in, you'll want to catch Alexander Hulshoff and Andreas Froehlich on February 20, showcasing melodies by Brahms, Schubert, and others on cello and piano.

As spring blooms on March 20, the Jasper Trio will grace us with compositions by Schumann and Dvorak.

On April 24, get ready for an adventure journey with Lutz Koppetsch (saxophone), Lea Birringer (violin), and Alexander Schimpf (piano), transitioning from baroque music to heavy metal.

Finally, on May 29, 2026, the critically acclaimed Minguet Quartet will round off the new Serenade series.

But wait, there's more! On March 20, the Jasper Trio will put on a children's concert at 10 am, featuring the classic tale of "Peter and the Wolf." Teachers can already register their classes (for children aged 6 and above) for the children's concert. The price per student is 4.50 euros. Register at [email protected]

Individual tickets cost 15 euros (reduced 8.50 euros) and will go on sale 11 days before each concert, except for Silvester reservations, which can be made as early as November 24.
